How to make baguette bread

first stage
First, we mix the sourdough ingredients, which are lukewarm water, lukewarm milk, instant sourdough and sugar, in a suitable container. Close the lid and put it in a warm place for 10 minutes and let the sourdough bubble and act.

second stage
Sift the flour twice, then mix half of the flour with salt and baking powder and pour it into a bowl and empty the middle of the flour. Now pour 1 cup of wolverine water and the result ing dough into the middle of the flour and mix.

 

third level
Now add the other half of the flour little by little and knead the dough by hand to form it. Once the dough is formed, soften the butter and add the liquid oil and knead the dough continuously by hand for 5 minutes.

 

 

The fourth step
Now grease a bowl with a double volume of dough with oil, then pour the dough into it and cover the bowl with cellophane. Put a towel on the cellophane and put the dough in a warm place to rest.

 

Step Five
About an hour later, our dough should have doubled, take the dough out of the bowl and knead for 5 minutes to remove excess air from the dough. Now we have to turn the dough into 150 grams. If you want a smaller baguette, get smaller ones.

 

Step Six
Now sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and open each chin with a rolling pin in the shape of a small lavash bread, then gather the dough in the shape of a tube and cover the dough with a rolling pin so that the roll does not open during baking.

 


Seventh step
Now place the greased greaseproof paper on the bottom of the oven tray and place the doughs on the greaseproof paper at intervals. Now cover the dough again with a clean cloth so that it rests for another 30 minutes and gains some volume.

 

Step eight
Now we have to turn on the oven at 200 degrees Celsius (for an electric oven at 180 degrees Celsius) until it is completely hot. After 30 minutes, we wipe the dough with a little milk and put it in the oven for 20 minutes until it is ready.

 

Step nine
After baking, separate the breads from greaseproof paper and place them on a cooling rack. Meanwhile, wipe the prepared breads with melted butter and allow them to cool completely, then fold the loaves.

First, place a rimmed pan on a gentle heat with a flame for 15 minutes, put a kettle on the pan so that the heat does not come out, after 15 minutes, cover the bottom of the pan with greaseproof paper and place the baguettes on the bottom of the pan..
